Business Background

Before moving into teaching, I worked in Accounting and Foreign Trade. Among other companies, I worked for BMW, various hotels and publishing companies.

In conclusion, this enables me to combine my language tuition with an insight into the world of business.

Therefore I am able to teach business clients:

  • The necessary language skills for successful business meetings
  • Skills for business correspondence
  • The difference in business culture
  • The difference in customs
  • About special cultural differences in certain areas
  • In addition to that, I aid with business correspondence, translations and meetings.

The German Teacher is born

While teaching at various schools, I was frequently approached for German tuition. In addition to parents and professionals, I was also approached by companies.

Similarly, demand for German is increasing. However, our schools mainly teach French, Spanish or Chinese.

Above all, many employers are looking for German speakers. Graduates want to combine their science, music or engineering degree with German. In the first place because they want to work in a German speaking country. Furthermore they want to read texts in the original language or connect with a composer.

In addition to that, my students have always been fascinated by German culture. In particular with literature and film. Similarly by German history.

Undeniably, the combination of language teaching with a strong cultural element appeals to any student of any age.

Experience

The German language is similar to English.

Therefore, it is my experience, that young people from nursery upwards to adults of all ages can successfully learn German.

I am passionate about language learning as it opens your eyes to a new culture.

The German Teacher wants to make the German language accessible to all. At the same time we want to convey German culture and customs through:

  • Language
  • Literature
  • Music
  • Film.

Our motto:

Communicate – Enjoy – Achieve

Susanne is passionate about teaching languages and has the ability to show students at first-hand how important languages can be as a native speaker of German. She has of course an excellent command of the German language and differentiates beautifully taking into account every learner. She is sociable and very approachable and her classes benefit from her endless enthusiasm and lively delivery.”
