What will a typical German lesson consist of?
Lessons are always interactive. They typically involve phonics (pronunciation), conversation, reading, listening, some writing, games, and grammar which fits the context of the lesson. Don’t worry, this will be explained clearly! Moreover, grammatical rules give you sound scaffolding, so you will be able to use the language confidently. Currently, we teach private lessons on German literature, films, conversational topic,s and letter translating and writing helping clients with private correspondence. It is your choice and your goal and we will help you to achieve your aim.
Lessons can be flexible to fit in with your schedule.
I have found ‘The German Teacher’ to be superb! I had some German instruction many years ago, but found I couldn’t really communicate when I visited Germany. I’ve now been working with Susanne Wardle for a few months, and can already speak a good deal more German than when I started. I see progress week by week!
Mrs Wardle is a very sensitive teacher: she adjusts each lesson to my specific needs, and works hard to offer what I’ve told her I need. She is highly intelligent, and very nice person as well. I can recommend her very highly indeed!
